Making Greeting Cards Simpler By Chocollette on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
I have recently started making my own greeting cards because the recipients love that the cards come from the heart and are personalized and also in the long run, it is definitely cheaper to make your own cards.
Getting 25 micro-scored (the 8X11 card stock comes to you already scored in the middle) paper really does make my life easier because nine times out of 10, if the paper was not scored, I could not fold the paper evenly! I use a bone folder to help smooth out the fold and I am good to go.
I price out card stock paper all of the time and so far, this is the least inexpensive place I have found on the Internet pricing out at $5.95 for 25 pieces of paper. The more paper you buy, the less expensive it is. This is not flimsy paper either-it is not too heavy or too light...it is....just right!

I enjoy making my own cards too, this sounds like it's a great start to a beautiful card. I hope they come in other colors besides white.
I have software for a few different greeting card kits. I really enjoy using them.
