Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas

The Mandalay Bay Resort is located on the Las Vegas strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is my absolute favorite place to stay when I visit Las Vegas.

It is located south on the Las Vegas strip, so it is not in the center of the action, but you can easily catch a monorail to the Luxor and Excaliber hotels. But the location seemed fine to me.

While the cost of most nights at Mandalay Bay can be a bit expensive, I've always managed to stay there for $130 a night or less. I just keep and eye out for deals and don't stay at peak times. Otherwise the rates can be $200-$300 a night or more.

The rooms are huge and luxurious. The standard rooms have large, comfortable beds with flat screen HD TVs. The bathrooms are also huge and spacious and have a TV in them, too! The views from the rooms are great. I've had a view of the pool area and of the Las Vegas strip.

My favorite thing about Mandalay Bay is their pool area. There are actually several pools there. There is a lazy river where you can either rent a tube or just float around for a while. And there is a large wave pool that creates waves every few minutes. I had a lot of fun in both of those and I could always spend hours there. There is also a beach that they created there that faces the wave pool, where you can just lay out in the sun and sand in a lounge chair.

I really love this hotel and if you're looking for a fun and luxurious hotel in Las Vegas, I highly recommend Mandalay Bay!
