Manhattan Dining Set

When my daughter graduated from college in December, I asked her what she would like to have for her graduation present. She didn't have any furniture for her new apartment yet, so she asked for a living room couch. We went to Value City Furniture to take a look at styles and prices for a living room couch, but for the heck of it, we browsed the dinette sets as well because she didn't have a table or chairs for her new apartment either.
The Manhattan 5 piece dining set was beautiful. The frame has a rich walnut finish and inlaid, beveled tempered glass inserts, making this table hard to scratch but easy to clean. My daughter and I sat down in the ugly mocha brown vinyl covered chairs to discuss whether she wanted a living room couch or a dining room set instead, and I couldn't believe how comfortable those chairs were to sit in. After half an hour of deliberation, she decided on the Manhattan 5 piece dining set for her college graduation present. Value City Furniture let us pick the day of delivery so we could pick it up at their warehouse when we picked up the U-haul. When my daughter called me later from her new apartment, she told me it was easy to put it together, and she's been very happy with it.
This is a great dinette set for anyone who is just satarting out in a new home. The price you paid was outstanding. And as for the vinyl covered chairs, we took our set when first married and recovered them in something we liked.
LOL, I told my daughter to get leather covered chairs to replace them. She just laughed. "Oh, Mom, they're not THAT bad. I like them." Hey, whatever floats your boat, but I still think they're ugly.
Those chairs look really comfy to me. And I think you got a great deal.

Yep, they are indeed very beautiful as I can see in the picture attached. Very good gift for a graduation as the furniture will be around for years for one to use.
