Manhunt By Janet Evanovich By espressocup on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

Before Janet Evanovich wrote those popular Stephanie Plum murder mysteries, she wrote romance. We are fortunate that a number of them have been re-released so that we can all enjoy them. Manhunt is one of those that is re-released. Manhunt would probably be today classified as a chick lit story -- it has a quick turning plot and lots of comedy. It is about a former corporate executive Alexa Scott who rents a cabin -- sight unseen -- in Alaska. She goes to Alaska with a bunch of priorities, one of which being to find a man, a husband actually. What happens is everything else and it is pretty funny. There is a romance that is very charming but it happens very unexpectedly. Just as Stephanie Plum has her hamster that we all know from all of the books, Scott has her big dog Bruno that gets her in all types of trouble. This is a fun book that will have you laughing all the way to the end.
