Manuel Antonio, Region Of Costa Rica By Vassili Shields on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

I loved staying in Manuel Antonio, a region of Costa Rica. I visited with my family a few years back and we spent a magical Christmas and New Years living in a beautiful resort, right in the jungle.

Manuel Antonio is located on the Carribean side of Costa Rica, so the water is warm and beautiful to swim in. The interesting thing about the are is that it consists of beautiful, luxurious resorts but It is all made up of Jungle. When we stayed there, we had spider monkeys and toucans on our pourch every day, we saw sloths in the nearby trees, and signs everywhere warned of snakes!

Because I love seeing exotic flaura and fauna, as well as vacationing on the beach, Manuel Antonio in Costa Rica was the ideal location for me. There are countless resorts and hotels to choose from, and make sure you visit Manuel Antonio park if you go, it is a beautiful conservation jungle right on the beach!
