Maple Story

Maple Story is a online role playing game from Nexon. The idea behind the game is to build up a character through playing, and making that character as strong as possible. The more you play, the more "experience" you gain, allowing you to gain levels and advance to different skills and armor in the game.

While playing you interact with other people whether it's to buy or sell items you need, or to chat and make new friends. People are very friendly, and it's easy to get to know other "maplers".

When you start off you are nothing but a weak beginner, then as you kill monsters you get to choose your first job. You have the choice between four professions; thief, warrior, magician or bowman. All of these have their pros and cons, so it's best to read some FAQ's before choosing. As you advance further you develop spectacular skills, and Maple Story takes you on an adventurous journey in an imagined world.

There are lots of maps, lots of people and lots of fun. Be prepared to spend a lot of time on it though, because in order to get strong and powerful you must devote a lot of time.

The gameplay is in 2d, but the graphics are more then good enough.

Anyhow, I absolutely recommend Maple Story!
