Margot at the Wedding stars Jack Black, Nicole Kidman, and Jennifer Jason Leigh. This is the story of two sisters who have some problems with each other but despite that they come together for the one sister's wedding to her boyfriend. This was suppose to be a dark comedy which I like. However, this was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It seemed pointless. Nothing really happens except the sisters gripe at each other and the one sister begins to hate her future brother in law about an hour into the movie. She claims he is no good. She claims he probably has some mental problems but until he admits to one incident late in the movie there is no sign of why she does not like him. One would expect you might see some of the reasons she does not like him through out the movie but not in this movie. I expected to see how the sisters were going to resolve their problems but again nothing. There are some random scenes that make no sense and have nothing to do with the movie as a whole. I was quite surprised I like these 3 actors but this movie was not at all entertaining.
