Mariah Carey's Comeback: The Emancipation Of Mimi By IceQueen on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

From the minute I heard Mariah Carey was coming out with a new CD I was excited. I couldn't believe that she lost her vocal skills so I continued to hope. The Emancipation of Mimi confirmed for me that Mariah still had it. THats all I needed.

Each track on this album proves that Mariah can handle it all. She had great singles from here and none of them feel overplayed in my eyes. I can still listen to "We Belong Together" and "Shake it Off" without feeling tired and worn ot. For someone to be able to provide timeless singles shows that she can do it all.

Mariah had some great upbeat tracks on here as well. If you ask me she picked the right guests for each song. Instead of overpowering or ruining her vocals they seemlessly complement them. I was able to listen to the Empancipation of Mimi nonstop for a couple of monthes.

Till now I find joy in listening to it.
