Mario Badescu Collagen Moisturizer Spf 15 By RachelReviews on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I like Mario Badescu Collagen Moisturizer SPF 15 to an extent. It is fragrance-free, creamy yet light, and very wet-feeling. Due to this texture, the moisturizer had very smooth spreadability with no dragging.

What I did not like is that it added shine to my forehead immediately after application. Fortunately, the shine disappeared when the cream dried.

I found that my face, especially my cheeks, felt really soft while wearing this. I really liked the lack of scent.

While checking the ingredients, I saw that cotton seed oil was among the list. I try to purchase oil-free products to avoid acne. I checked online and found that cotton seed oil is moderately comedogenic at a level 3. One website cautioned not to use certain ingredients with comedogenic levels of 3-5 if you are prone to acne. Yet, the moisturizer says it's for combo and sensitive skin types. I'm not entirely sure it would be so good for combo skin.

I did not notice any major breakouts, as of yet. I just noticed a few, small bumps on my right cheek since applying the cream. I do not see myself using the sunscreen again on my face, just to be safe, even though I really liked how soft my skin felt. I would just rather not cause any breakouts, whatsoever.
