Mario Badescu Seaweed Night Cream

I received a parcel of Mario Badescu samples recently, and I was really excited to try them all out. All of the samples were customized for my skin-type after I filled out a questionnaire. The first sample I tried was the Seaweed Night Cream. It is a lightly fragranced, mint-green colored oil-free moisturizing cream. The cream smells a bit like cucumber and baby powder.

Before putting on the cream, I noticed slight flaking on my chin by my mouth. I sometimes have this due to the use of prescription products that control my acne. While applying, I found the cream to be thick and cool to the touch. I did not need a lot of the product to moisturize my face. I took little dabs of the product on my index finger and applied it to my chin area, my cheeks, nose and forehead.

My forehead only needed a tiny amount, while the other areas needed the hydration due to my combination skin. I like that the cream doesn't add any shine to my skin. After applying, my skin definitely does feel less dry and parched. It feels smoother and really soft. The cream definitely quenched the flaky area, too. I plan on using this product again.
