Last Sunday my 16 year old son and I purchased Mario Kart Wii. While my husband occasionally plays, my son and I have lived on this game for the past week! I have never played any of the past versions of Mario Kart but I can understand how this game has stood the test of time and has been a hit for everyone of the Nintendo game systems! It is good, clean, fun. The characters are cute and charming. The courses are challenging but not so much so that this middle aged lady can't win a time or two! I love the online play. It brings a more personal aspect to the game than just playing against the computer. During the week, we even had the opportunity to play against my brother online. He lives about 600 miles away! Currenly, Nintendo is having a Mario Kart Wii tournament on the Mario Kart Channel on the system. My son and I have each submited some times so wish us well!

My sister just got a Wii for us and we both really want to get Mario Kart. It looks so fun!!! Glad to hear even older people can enjoy it too. Although I don't mean like old, just older than a juvenile! hehe
My 6 yr old grandson just told me all about this game today! He's having so much fun with it!
I just rented this game from the video game last weekend. My 8 yr old had a blast with this game. My husband and I decided to give it a whirl and we too had a fun time. We had so much fun that I decided to order it off Amazon, it was shipped yesterday so we should have it by this weekend ;)
I would like to try out one of these Wii systems!
