Marley Me Is A Must See By cnt24 on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

This year the Easter bunny left the newly released on DVD movie Marley & Me. The movie is based on the book, Marley & Me, and is one of those real-life stories you can relate to. After reading the book, seeing the previews, and the hilarious commercials that have come from this flick, I knew it was going to be good. Easter morning Marley & Me was swiftly loaded into the player.

As I prepared for family to arrive for Easter dinner, I found myself fully drawn into this story. The casting was on the mark with Marley from beginning to end. This dog was spectacular and endearing despite his antics.

Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston play a young married couple, John and Jennifer Grogan. Marley comes about as a birthday gift for Jennifer as a means to delay starting a family. The funny thing in the end was the realization that bringing Marley into their lives was the start of their family.

Many people do not realize how rewarding it is to have a dog in your life. Some see animals as possessions when in fact they are much, much more. You can see this in Marley & Me and how John changes once Marley enters and becomes part of their family.

I am not going to give you details about Marley & Me. I do not want to ruin it for you. I will tell you to expect plenty of laughter and a few tears.

This film is rated PG-Parental Guidance. It hints at a sexual relationship between a husband and wife, but you are never faced with true nudity or the act itself. There are the few words used one might not want their child hearing. However, they are no worse than what you might hear on regular television on a regular basis.

This movie is really funny and Marley is awesome. It's just a little depressing at times though, mostly funny though.
