Marques Houston Grows Up In His Second Cd By IceQueen on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Let me start off with saying Naked was not meant for a younger audience. Being Marques Houston's second solo album, he decided to get more intimate with his audience. Right away I loved the fact that there were 11 tracks instead of the whopping 17 MH had. I picked this CD up at my local f.y.e. and the first thing I did was browse over the track names. I ended up raising my eyebrow at the some of the song titles, my biggest concern being "Sex With You". My mind raced trying to figure out what he was about to say in that track, and for some reason it made me buy it quicker. His CD gave me a complete sense of curiousity. I had already heard "Naked" before the CD was realised so I should have been prepared with what to expect. I have to honestly say that every track on Naked was worth listening too. All the songs have a meaning behind them, even though some do not make as much sense. "Marriage" is an example of that. He is singing about how getting married to his girlfriend wouldn't change anything, except an excuse to have a party. Other songs have really deep themes that are completely honest like "I Wasn't Ready." The only reason I didn't rate the CD to high was because Marques Houston had a lot of adult content which many parents wouldn't approve their teenage daughters listening too.
