Marques Houston's Third Album Tops The Rest By IceQueen on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

In my opinion this was Marques Houston's best work so far! When I first got this CD I was wondering how it would compare to his first two solo albums. Normally I don't listen to the Intro, but the fact that it had a recording of him when he was younger. He later on speaks about his journey as a musician and then starts off with the first track. The first thing I noticed that was different about Veteran was that all the songs had better beats. The music itself was more upbeat, making it more enjoyable to listen to. My first favorite song was "Always and Forever" because the lyrics really stood out, but it wasn't later on that I realized pretty much every song on the CD had the same affect on me. One of the sweetest songs on the CD was "Favorite Girl". The meaning behind the song was hard to beat. Overall Veteran is an amazing CD. It had great singles and every track is worth listening to atleast once. If you never liked Marques Houston before, this is the perfect CD to fall in love with.
