Marriott; Cedar Rapids, Iowa

I was recently sent to Cedar Rapids, Iowa for a business meeting. My company booked my stay at the the Marriott.

This hotel seemed to have a lot of business travelers. I feel its a good hotel for people on business. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

My room was nice in size and clean when I arrived. The beds were comfortable. My room had a mini fridge and a small microwave in it.

I had a meeting in their meeting room. Their meeting room was perfect in size for my company's needs. The chairs were nice and comfortable and there was a nice size business table where we could lay out our papers. The Marriott had some food catered in, which was very good.

I used the complimentary airport shuttle. I have no complaints, the drivers was polite and on time.

My main issue with this hotel is they charge a $10 fee for internet access. If my company was not footing the bill I would not have paid for internet access.

I think this is a nice hotel for those on business and it seems to fit basic business needs.
