Marvel : Ultimate Alliance By The Defier By TheDefier on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Pretty good game though my ratings don't show it, Marvel : Ultimate Alliance grants a great adventure party game for kids to teens or even a couple of comic-loving adults who were faithful to the Marvel legacies.
Graphics aren't up to par and the skills are limited so they become repetitive. The content isn't so rich as they're the typical beat-up the bad guy storyline and each stage seems like it has the same goal as all of the others : beat the boss, collect more coins than your allies.
However, for its Genre, I gave it a 4 to suffice for its excellent party performance, especially when you're late into the night and want to have some fun with your friends. 3D/2D isn't so good as you're pretty much stuck with the overhead point of view throughout the game save for some key points such as boss battles and scenematics. Maturity Rating is of course at max as the game is so childish and easy to master that a 2-year old could play it. Really!
Overall, not a bad game. It won't be revolutionary, but it'll give you a couple laughs with your party pals along the way... even the game isn't intended to make you laugh :)
