Mass Effect

I was a huge fan of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and its sequal KOTOR 2, so I was estatic to play Biowares new epic RPG Mass Effect. Take everything from KOTOR and boost the visuals, add in a better combat system and immerse yourself in an extravagantly crafted universe and you have Mass Effect. The game can last anywhere from 10 hours to 30+, depending on how much you want to dig into the side missions. I was a huge fan of the combat system, for the most part, so I didn't mind doing the side quests for more and more money and experiance. I finished my first play through with well more than 1 million credits, all the high level weapons, and at level 43. You can take as much or as little as you like. One thing that was not satisfactory about the side missions is that they were repetitive and had little or no affect on the actual story. The only complain I really have against the game is the problems with the framerate. This can be frustrating during combat when it will slow down in larger battles. I personally loved the combat, so besides the framerate this was a near perfect game for me.
