Massanutten Indoor Water Park

Massanutten is a well known name in Ski Resorts on the East Coast but they have recently added a new feature. An Indoor Water Park. It is opened year round and is so much fun. It is a must see in the Shenandoah Valley. This is a huge water park that is located near Harrisonburg, Va. It is a water Park inside of a solarium type atmosphere. It is heated and can be enjoyed even on the coldest day of winter. It has water slide and tube rides. It also has hottubs and kiddie pools along with my favorite the lazy river. It is really family friendly as my daughter has been able to participate on many of the water slides since she was 2. It can be a little expensive as it is about $40 per adult and only drops to $32 for kids 4 and older. It is alot of fun though. You have hot dog, hamburger concession stand on the actual floor with the water rides and pools. Up stairs is an all you can eat buffet which is not too expensive as long as you eat before 4pm. They also have an arcade and shop upstair to buy what ever you may have forgotten. This is a great water park as it has never been crowded when we have gone. They also have a surfing wave and outside in thesummer months is additional water slides and a wave pool. This is a great destination for families with small children as there is so much for them to do. Check out Massanuttens Water Park it is a great experience.
