Massanutten Resort in Virginia

My husband and I recently stayed at Massanutten Resort in Virginia.It is a time share property. We went with friends who are owners.The resort is located in the mountain region of Virginia.The resort offers several different amenties. There are ski slopes, snow tubing, indoor water park, indoor pool and hot tubs, excercise room.There are several diffferent lodging options. There are one, two and three bedroom condo's and there are also hotels. There are several restaurants on the resort property. The is a general store where you can shop for food and clothes as well as other things. At the ski lodge there is a small restaurant that is open during the day. On the weekends there is a club (Encounters Lounge) that is located in the lodge.When we went there was a live band that played.The views of the area mountains are beautiful.
When we went we all had wanted to snow tube.It look fun. However, because of the high wind advisory we were unable to tube. Even though we could not tube we enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere.We even had pizza delivered from the pizza restaurant on property.The pizza was ok, nothing too special.
I've never been to Virginia but this sounds like a very nice place.
An indoor water park and a ski slope! That sounds like the ideal vacation location to me!
Holy cow I wanna go tomm. i am not a huge fan of cold places, but the indoor water park sounds amazing. I want to snow tube too.. Sorry you didn't get to do it!

Snow tubing sounds more to my liking that skiing and the indoor water park is sure to be a great hit for the kids too:0) Thanks for the pictures and great information.
This sounds like an excellent place to stay. I really like indoor water parks. Can make for some great fun.
