My son, now 9 years old, LOVES matchbox cars. Ok, not so much as he did when he was younger, but we still have some around the house.
As most of you parents out there know, the car play sets may start out looking good, but they loose parts easily and take up loads of room! A few years ago, we discovered Matchbox Pop Up sets. ALL the pieces are fixed and the whole kit folds into an easy to carry square about 9 x 9 inches!
These are great for travel and the home. They do make bigger ones as well but we never got around to buying them. This little set was just the thing we needed. No more wasted floor space, half broken car sets, and parts laying around! Simply play with it then fold it up and put it on your self!
Our son liked it because it fit perfect into his backback and he could take it on trips or in the car.
CONS: Not as intricate as the bigger matchbox playsets.
PROS: Easy to store, cheap, and portable.

my son had some of these when he was younger also. I like them because we could bring them with us when we would travel to the relatives.
Well how handy is this for both child and parents!
Matchbox will never disappear-boys/girls just love the little cars.
I have not seen this one - I like that it stores itself!
