My daughter used the Math-U-See Pre-Algebra curriculum last year. It was fantastic! She has emerged as a strong math student due to this curriculum. The set comes with the student text and the teachers manuel with DVD. The DVD features the creator, Steve Demme, teaching each of the 30 lessons. My daughter and I would watch the DVD together, go over anything that need repeating afterward and then she would proceed to complete the student pages. This was a real help to see the creator teach the lesson, versus me having to read the manuel and recall this math from 20+ years ago.

I would highly recommend this curriculum as either your homeschoolers math for the school year, or any school students enrichment in pre-algebra.
