I wear two bags all the time: this Maurizio Taiuti Black Leather Bag and another one. I hardly ever deviate from those two bags because they just "work."
This handbag is genuine leather and made in Italy. The leather is smooth, soft and buttery. It measures 13" wide and 10" long.
To the middle of the strap is 9" (strap height), and the strap is around 1" wide. It has silver-toned hardware. I really like the silver rings that the strap loops into and the silver zipper-pull.
I love the shorter strap. It allows the bag to hit at just the right place for me.
The top of the bag starts at my chest while the base ends up at my hipbone.
I really like the padded part of the strap. Right where the strap hits on your shoulder, there is a thicker, slightly wider part of the strap. This adds comfort, support and strength to the bag.
