Max Payne- The Move

I have never played the video game, but I had seen a preview for it and thought it looked good.I really enjoyed this movie. It is a darker film than Mark Wahlberg usually does. Max Payne (Mark Wahlberg) is a man who pain seems to follow. He used to be a narcotics cop, but since the unsolved murder of his wife and child he now works dead end cold case files. On his off time he is searching for his wife and childs murderer. Soon his ex-partner is dead and Max knows that murder is related to that of his family.The storyline was well done and kept my attention from beginning to end.I think Mark Wahlberg did a good job of portraying the hardened, morose, angry Max. Mila Kunis also plays a role in this movie which is the polar opposite of the character Jackie she played on That 70's Show. She was suprisingly good. The rapper Ludacris also plays a small part in the film, and while he will not be winning a grammy anytime soon he was not horrible. After having seen the movie, I might just try out the video game. I am not sure this is a movie I would watch over and over but well worth seeing once.
