Maxell Rechargeable Aa Battery Ni Mh By John Gugie on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

These are the Maxell rechargeable AA Batteries. They use, specifically, a Nickel-Metal Hydride energy core and a capacity of 1.2v at 1850mAh. These are very high capacity batteries that are perfect for heavy-duty devices, such as digital cameras, which require heavy, short bursts of power for their flash bulbs.

I bought these for my Toshiba digital camera and they work great. For the past few years, I've used these to power my Logictech cordless laser mouse. I usually need to recharge the batteries about once per week, which saved me big bucks had these been non-rechargeable alkalines.

The packaging boasts that they can be recharged up to 1000 times. I believe their claim.

If you need high-capacity, long-life batteries, this is a sure bet. They cost about $9.99 for a pack of four. That's $2.50 each. It's well worth the higher price because it will save you hundreds of dollars over the long term.

I really need some more rechargeable batteries. These sound pretty good and inexpensive. Thanks!

Maxwell makes batteries? I did not know that. I will have to try these. Rechargeable batteries are definitely the way to go in my opinion.
