If you are in the market for an infant car seat, by that I mean for 0-9 months, the Maxi Cosi Cabrio is a great choice. It's light and portable, as opposed to a lot of car seats it's REALLY easy to install. Not only that but you can take your infant in and out of the car while in the car seat, so when you are going to see proud grandparents it's extremely handy to have the seat indoors with you. Especially if your child falls asleep, you have no need to disturb him or her when you are leaving.

The Maxi Cosi also comes with they Cosy Toe, which is great for keeping baby all snug and warm getting in and out of the car in any weather.

You can also get what is called the Maxi Taxi. This is a transport system, and you can clip the car seat onto the system and you have a buggy. This is particularly hand when you are going shopping, or travelling via plane. You have a buggy and carseat with you, so you are covered if you have to hire a car, or if you are getting picked up. It can cost up to $250, but it also comes with accessories that will make it a buggie for when your child gets older.

It's a very easy travel system, and the car seat is well worth investing in.
