Maya Wrap Baby Sling
By bloggymommy onThe Maya Wrap lightly padded sling is highly regarded amongst those who know their slings.I ordered this product excitedly, only to find myself intimidated.When my baby was born, I hesitated to use it because I didn't know if I would "get it".The company includes a video, but the video was so boring to watch that I soon gave up on that.The written instructions were much easier for me to follow and it actually wasn't hard to figure out after all!!It really cradles my newborn and rocks him right to sleep while allowing me to do some light things around the house.The sling is lightly padded around the shoulder area NOT where the baby is placed.I do not find the padding to make the sling that much more comfortable as the weight of your baby will eventually hurt your back/shoulders if you ahve worn it for a long time.I like that the actual sling portion is not padded as this helps to not overheat the baby.This sling is highly recommended.
I tried to use one too and could never get the hang of it. Maybe I needed one like this.
I have a friend who uses this. I have to admit I don't know if I could of gotten the hang of using one.
This seems like a nice carrier & I agree with you about it being good that there isn't padding to overheat the baby!
