Maybelline Lash Discovery Mini-Brush Mascara

I wish I'd been born with lush, full lashes...but instead I have sporadic, unevenly colored lashes. Thus, I am always looking for a great mascara - one that will give me natural looking lashes and stay on all day.

Since I prefer a natural look rather than thickly coated lashes, I was excited to try the Lash Discovery Mini-Brush Mascara from Maybelline New York. At first glance, I was quite pleased; the small bristles coat every lash with just enough color, reaching even the smallest lashes. It's easy to get a nice, even coat with only a few stokes of the wand.

However, this mascara has a serious downside and that is that it smudges horribly! Without even doing any activity at all, I soon discovered little flakes under my eyes. Then, when I took a brief nap, I woke up with two raccoon eyes. I've never had a mascara that creates such a mess!

With a great brush and a formula that doesn't irritate, it's a shame this mascara simply doesnt stay on. I have yet to find it in a waterproof formula, but until one is made, I will be looking for another brand.
