I got this light compact mirror on eBay for free when I purchased a Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Double Face Perfector (concealer and highlighter). I guess it was some sort of promotion because on the compact itself it said Maybelline New York Instant Age Rewind. Instant Age Rewind was their new line of products.

This item looks like your regular compact. It is in the color of silver. When you open it up, there is two mirrors, one on the top and one on the bottom. On the back of the compact itself, there is a switch to turn the light on and off. When you turn it on and open it up, the light comes from the bottom half of the compact. When you close the compact, it snaps shut. On the back of it, there is an arrow pointing which allows you to open it in order to access the batteries. This is very difficult to open. It took me a few tries to open it up. Then when I got it to finally open and went to close it, I couldn't close it all the way. It is still partway open to this day. Other than that, I really do like this compact. It is extremely convenient and I carry it with me everywhere. I love to use the light. I have use several compacts with mirrors in the past but with never a light. I don't experience any problems turning it on or off. I do recommend Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind Light Compact Mirror.
