Maybelline Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Foundation
By moonbeam973 onThe first time I used this, I put it on top of my moisturizer, and I did not like it very well. It is a regular foundation (I guess I did not realize that - I thought it would add radiance and cover minor flaws), and it delivers more coverage than I like. I could see it on my skin, and I just hate the way that looks - like a mask. So, now, I just add a few drops of this product to my moisturizer. That probably decreases the sun protection factor, but it gives me a nice light, flawless finish. Mineral Power is offered in an assortment of shades to match any skin tone (especially if you wear it "watered down" the way I do). The packaging is standard - just some thick paper and thin plastic. Coverage lasts all day. I do not see any fragrance or oil listed in the ingredients, but there sure are a lot of parabens. I think the Mineral Power name is a bit misleading. I am not seeing any redeeming ingredients other than vitamin C and glycerin. I am hoping some of these chemical sounding ingredients are minerals, but that that is doubtful.

I was thinking about trying the Maybelline mineral powder liquid, thank you for reviewing it. I have tried and use the Avon powders and really like them, I use Ideal match loose powder over my liquid foundation, can be a little drying, but what powder isn't, great coverage, never tried the minerals yet though.
