The Maytag MDB4621AWW is a 24'' dishwasher in white. It has three wash levels and setting for pots and pans and sterilization. It also has the option for heated drying. The dishwasher has vinyl coated racks and a removable silverware basket.
When my old dishwasher died I had to choose a new model. There are many options availiable at many different price ranges. This model is int he lower price range, but is still energy efficient and has many nice features on it. I was recommended Maytag by the sales person over other brands because of their performance.
So far the dishwasher has performed well. I ilike that it has a lock on it so my child can't turn it on. One thing I thought I'd like more is the removable silverware tray. So far it has been more of a pain than a nice feature. In orger to put any silverware in the basket, all racks must be pushed completly in and that is sometimes a pain when doing dishes.
The perfromance of the unit has been good so far and I have not had any issues. I hope it lasts a very long time.

I think my dishwasher is on it's last leg. I will look into this when mine stops working. Not a bad price either.
Maytag was great before being purchased by Whirlpool. I think the quality has deteriorated for both companies since the merger. Good luck!
This is the first dishwasher I've heard of that has a child safety lock. All the ones we've had didn't have any child safety locks & we always need to keep an eye on our little one who likes to give the start a crank sometimes.
$300+ !! wow im gonna need one two, i also need a washing machine , cuz i cant bother to was by hand
