Reviewing: Pawtucket Redsox Mc Coy Stadium

I have been visiting McCoy stadium in Pawtucket, RI for several years now. I have seen many really great baseball games there. That is one park I really enjoy going to very much. The owner Ben Mondor runs a very classy organization there. Of course it is the triple a affiliate of the Boston Redsox. One huge reason why I am writing this review is because these days the cost of things if very prohibitive for many folks. Try bringing your family to a major league ball park and see what it costs you. For nice box seats on the first base or third baseline you could easily spend 300.00-500.00 for a family of 4-5 people not to mention the fees for parking. I am talking a top club such as the Boston Redsox and Fenway park. Getting back to McCoy stadium. You could get great box seats there for 60.00 or less for your family and to tell you the truth the games are just as good. Last time I was there I did not pay to park my car either. The stadium had free parking. Minor league baseball is one of the biggest bargains on the planet. McCoy stadium is very much like a major league ball park. It is very family orientated and has a hot stove party during the winter months where you can actually meet some of the players and get autographs. They also had complimentary food available as well. There was also an easter egg hunt one time at the end of one of the games. To sum it all up a very classy well run, family orientated business that makes going to baseball games affordable for almost everyone.

McCoy Stadium is one heck of a park! One of the things that is really different about the park is that the seating is elevated above the field, with the dugouts being underneath the seating on the 1st and 3rd baselines. What a lot of children do is they bring plastic buckets or bottles tied with string so that they can lower balls and cards with pens to the players below who will take turns signing the items and then the kids can pull their things back up, all signed! I love this place!

I've been to Fenway, but never to McCoy Stadium. Now I wish I had gone when I was living in the area.
