McLure House Wheeling WV

My husband and I stayed at the Mc Lure House Hotel in Wheeling West Virginia on a trip to Wheeling a few years ago. This hotel used to be the Ramada, but was since bought and is now called the Mc Lure House. This is the only hotel that is in the older section of downtown Wheeling. That is why we stayed there. The rest of the hotels are in the newer section of Wheeling. The Mc Lure House is about 14 stories high and has it's own parking garage, which is nice. We liked our room, it was average size and was clean. The hotel as a whole was nice and clean. We were within walking distance of everything we were there to see on that trip, so we really liked the convenience. There are some great restaurants and attractions nearby. The only negative was the noise we heard from the neighboring rooms late at night, I guess the walls are kind of thin. Other than that everything was good.
