Mead Security Envelopes By Karen By Karen on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I can't recall exactly how much I paid for these envelopes, but I know they were relatively inexpensive. The Mead Security Envelopes I use most often are 4 1/8" x 9 1/2" (business size). They have a printed lining inside for privacy. You do have to lick them (or wet them in some other way) to seal them, but since I'm not using many of these envelopes at one time, that was never a problem for me.

I have a box of 50 envelopes, and they have lasted me a while. They're perfect for home and office, and the size is perfect for sending checks and business letters. These envelopes are made in the USA, and Mead is known for making many products of this nature. If you are looking for a very strong envelope, these would not be for you. They are good envelopes for just all around, normal use. I have sent a lot of things in this type of envelope over the years and have never had any problems with them.

Mead Security Envelopes are a good envelope for your everyday type of mailings, and the printed lining does give you added security.
