Measure Your Way With These Pewter Beauties By Alice on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
Everytime I watch Paula Deen on the cooking channel I admire the pewter measuring spoons she uses to measure out her recipes.
I received this set from my daughter for Christmas last year and just love using them. I can always pretend to be half as entertaining and a good cook like Paula when I use these. I have been looking for a stand to hang them on so I can display them on my counter all the time.
These lead free pewter spoons range in size from 1/4 teaspoon to 2 tablespoons. The designs in each one is a beautiful flower and the measurement is hammered out on the handle of each spoon. I hope you can see this in the pictures. This set is solid and has some weight to it so they are not just some flimsy set that might get bent or damaged. I do wash them by hand to keep them beautiful looking for years to come.
These are handmade and are very accurate in measurements as I compared them to an old plastic set I had. They are a beautiful addition to my kitchen and my next goal is to get the cups that match these. Christmas will be here soon!!
If you want something unique and love to cook, or know someone that does, please check these out as they would make a beautiful and memorable gift.
