I am a member of a site called Gather. Originally a site for writers, (which I am) some of it resembles Facebook. They have contests most days for free points or items.
I won a free coupon for Meatless Boca Burgers on Gather. I was excited to try this product which boasted good taste without the fat of meat. There were many choices of flavors. I picked the grilled variety - thinking it would most taste like a burger.
This product is taken from the freezer and heated in the microwave. When it was done cooking it smelled wonderful. I put it on a bun with a little mustard and some thin sliced onion.
I loved the taste at first, though it seemed awfully salty to me. As I continued eating the Boca Burger, I had a harder and harder time getting it down. Then my stomach started hurting. I finished about two thirds of the sandwich.
You might think I would suggest you not buy these but I think if they were less salty my belly would have been okay. I also feel they would have tasted MUCH better if I had grilled them outside.
Next time I will cook them on the grill outside, slowly.
I think for everyone, Boca Meatless Burgers are worth a try.

Denny's actually has these on their menu and I have had them. At first I thought they were Bubba Burgers - my mistake. The cook overcooked the patty my first time having it and I had to send it back for one I could actually bite into. So be careful to not overcook or they will make great frisbees.
