Medela Harmony

I bought the Medela Harmony when I went on vacation.I needed to bring something that could express milk, but was not so bulky.
I liked the soft breast cup and the handle which allows you to rapidly pump to acheive letdown and then once letdown is acheived their is a lever that you can hold down to continue to express milk.this product also comes with two travel storage containers.
I was suprised to find that the Medela Harmony actually allowed me to express my breast milk faster then my pump in style.the manual does require a bit more work from the user and is not designed for everyday use, but for the occasional trip out of town it is perfect.
I did find the product a little difficult to clean.But other then that I would highly recommend this pump.
When I was building a freezer stash I used the Harmony and I loved it. It was easy to use and dishwasher safe. I didn't need it for everyday use and the Harmony was just perfect for what I needed it for!
I have given this pump to some of my friends as shower gifts so they can travel with them!! Some have said that it takes time to clean but they do like it!
This is a great hand pump made by Medela and great for the occasional pumping!

Anything that helps to encourage mom's to continue breastfeeding is worth trying. This one has the advantage of portability and speedier usage. Medela does make some very good breastfeeding aids.
