Medela Nursing Stool By xshellyx on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have always had a bad back. It was always hard to find a comfortable position to breastfeed. This stool was truly a backsaver. It helps to elevate and angle your feet in a way that takes stress off your back, shoulders and neck. I used this while sitting on the couch or in my glider rocker. I found that I could sit longer in the same position without getting sore or stiff when I stood up. It was easy to assemble and is made from very sturdy real wood. The top is grooved for traction and the stool is very easy to clean. It still looks like new. Even now that I'm done breastfeeding, I keep the stool next to my office chair for when I'm sitting long periods of time. If you have any back issues, I would advise trying out a nursing stool--you'll be hooked!

I can see how the extra elevation would be a big help. This looks like a sturdy attractive piece to help make nursing more comfortable.
