Mederma Skin care for Scars

The verdict is still out on Mederma, which is a skin medicine used for the treatment of scars. After prolonged use, mederma is supposed to help reduce the appearance of scars and blemishes. I have only been using it on a slight scar on my hand for about one month now, and have not noticed a difference yet. For the price, I believe that the bottle should come bigger, at .70 oz that is not alot. You are supposed to use mederma 3-4 times a day for new scars for 8 weeks, and 3-6 times a day on existing scars for 3-6 months. Mederma claims to help scars from stretch marks, acne, burns, and injury. I am currently treating a small burn I received at work on my hand. It goes on smooth and blends in very well, the gel is clear an white and cannot be seen. I like it so far, we will see how much better my scar gets.
