Good Neighbors Pharmacy makes a product called medicated chest rub. It is a good product and a great value. You can rub this on your chest and it really helps when you have a cold or the flu. I also use it because I have alergies. It really helps to open the sinus passages and help me to breath better. I think that the jar lasts a long time. My jar is 1.75 ounces. I was told that if you rub onto the bottom of your feet and wear socks at night, that it will help to relieve cold symptoms. I have tried this and it does help. The best thing about this product is that you can rub your throat and chest and there are no drowsy side effects! It is also a help with coughs and nasal congestion. It is a topical analgesic which is great for relieving distress of colds. I was pleased to be paying less for a product that does just as much good as the more exspensive brand. I will continue to use it. It really helps you to feel more comfortable and especialy when I was trying to get to sleep.
