When I was putting in an order of Yucca Intensive on 1800petmeds.com I decided to see what they had for pet toys. They had a couple that looked cute, one being the Booda Soft Bite Medium Pink Pig Dog Toy. The toy is described as being medium sized, durable and having a terry cloth cover. Plus it is a cute.

Unfortunately when I saw the box of my order, I just knew that this “medium” sized toy was going to be small… When I opened the box I saw just how small this “medium” pig is. Surprise! This dog toy is about 6” tall from the tip of its little head to the bottom of its tiny foot and a bit over 2” wide. The item is smaller than a beanie baby.

While this is a tough looking little dog toy that appears well made, the lack of sizing information on the 1800petmeds website and the description of medium left a very wrong impression on me. I would say that this dog toy isn't a medium to the vast majority of dogs on the planet and while being perfectly sized for a Chihuahua, probably not so much for a 60 pound medium sized dog.

In addition to the size, one thing that I did not think of before purchasing it is that the light pink color is not the best choice for a slobberer. Even a tan toy that gets a lot of use and abuse from a slobbering dog looks a lot better worn down than a light pink pig that quickly looks like it came straight in from the barn, especially if your pooch totes the thing outside.

My final word is that it is cute and well made, but very small and better suited for the tiny dogs that fit in a purse.
