It is a boyfriends worst nightmare- meeting the parents of his girlfriend. In the movie "Meet the Parents, Greg Focker (Ben Stiller), goes home with his girlfriend Pam (Teri Polo), and meets her family as they are preparing for Pam's sister's wedding. Greg meet Jack Byrnes, Pam's father, played by Robert De Niro. Jack is an ex-CIA agent, who makes Greg's life miserable for him.
This is a hilarious movie- poor Greg tries so hard to impress Jack, and nothing quite work out the way he intends. Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro both turn out wonderful comedic performances- their characters will have you laughing the whole way through.
Blythe Danner and Owen Wilson are 2 supporting roles which are great as well- Blythe is Jack's wife, and Owen is Pam's ex-boyfriend.
Meet the Parents has lots of one-liners that make great catch phrases that you will remember for a long time- I highly recommend seeing this movie if you haven't yet! The director for this movie is the same one who directed Austin Powers, so he knows his way around a comedy.
Meet the Parents is PG-13 for sexual content, drug references, and language. It runs 1 hr, 48 minutes.
