Mellon Arena Pittsburgh
By Momof2Disneyboys onMellon Arena is located right in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is home to the Pittsburgh Penguins Hockey Team, although I have never been there to see a hockey game.
I have been there several times. I have gone to many concerts there, including rock and country artists. I have been there on a field trip with my son's class to see the circus. I also took my kids there to see Bob The Builder Live several years ago. That was an awesome experience. I had gotten second row floor seats and it was great!
Depending on the expected crowd for the event, sometimes the whole arena is open and sometimes only half is open. All seats are good. You can even see pretty well from the seats that are up really high.
They have a great parking lot and several entrances so you don't have to park far away and walk forever. There is also a very nice hotel right across the street if you would want to stay the night.

I've never been to this stadium but it sounds nice. I am glad you went to see bob the builder and not me!
The parking lot is just as important to me as the seating,LOL. Sounds like a good place to be.

Mellon Arena sound like a fantastic place! You certainly have had fun there attending concerts and the circus. I love it that all the seats provide one with a good view and the fact that parking is not a big issue! Thanks for this excellent info about the arena!
I love the Mellon Arena I actually met my husband there at a Penguin Game. I have been there tons of times we had season tickets for the Penguins for years and I honestly don't think there is a bad seat in the building.
This really seems like a great arena. I love when a place like that has great parking and doesn't require tons of walking! Very helpful!
Nice that the parking is good. The last event I went to was a nightmare coming AND going!
