I have one real candy obsession. Hickory Farms Melt Away Mints really get me going. They are minty but not overpowering or overly sweet tasting. They are creamy not crunchy (except for the beads if you choose to chew). They are utterly delightful!
Every year I get a bag of these treats from Santa. He must really love me! I'll tear open the bag right then and partake in a melt away treat.
I always buy these to put out at parties. I think everyone prefers Hickory Farms Melt Away Mints to your standard after dinner mint. There have been several occasions the bowl is completely empty at the end of the night-I believe some guests think they are part of my appetizers.
Hickory Farms Melt Away Mints are shaped similar to Hershey's kisses. The colors vary but every color tastes just the same. On the base there are tiny candy beads. If you look at them long enough you will see they are really pretty, in a candy sort of way.
These mints are more expensive than your standard party mints. They're about $8 for a 14 oz bag. But they are much appreciated by guests and family alike.

I fell inlove with these mints last Christmas, and I bought every bag I could find. To only find out now, that they have been discontinued by Hickory Farms. I am almost crying.
These really ARE good mints! Reminds me that I need to go look for some for our upcoming party.
