Reviewing: Johnson's So Melt Away Stress Body Lotion
Purchased at: Wal Mart     Price: $4.00 USD

Let me tell you- I have tried a variety of lotions out there! I always joke around about having lizard skin, so you can imagine that I have tried lotion after lotion. Since you have to spend so much money on lotions, I am generally pretty critical of the various products. After all, why should I spend 8 dollars vs. 2 dollars for a lotion that still won't do what I need it to?

That being said, I have generally been pretty pleased with the Johnson and Johnson line of body lotions. They are pretty effective, aren't greasy, and have a pleasant but not overpowering smell about them. I saw the Melt Away Stress Body Lotion by Johnson and Johnson on the shelf recently, and decided it was something I wanted to try.

Was I wildly excited about this product after using it? Well....no. Was I disgusted about the amount of money I had spent for another worthless lotion? Again...no. This lotion fell somewhere in the middle. As a lotion only, it was effective. It moisturizes sufficiently, and has a nice texture to it. The part where it fell short was the promise to Melt Away my Stress. I am sorry to say I did not feel any more relaxed after using this than I did before. Then again, I am a worrywart, so maybe that had something to do with it as well!

Keep in mind if you don't like smelly lotions, or if you have any allergies, you probably won't like this. I don't mind scented lotions, but this one took a little getting used to. If you plan to use this just as a lotion, and not a stress reliever, I don't think you'll be disappointed. I will say that in the future, I will just stick to the regular J&J lotions and leave the stress reliever alone!
