Memory: Cheaper Than Ever By JayZ on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

USB drives used to be the stuff of the future: rendering CDs, floppys, massive storage units totally obsolete. However, since their dabute, flash drives have become commonplace; their price has shot down while their capacity has risen to the sky. Dell's 512 MB model is hardly impressive when it comes to space. Today, even 2 GB drives sell for relatively low prices, so what place is there for a measely 512 MB? I suppose, then, what the Dell USB lacks in memory, it makes up for in sheer style. The drive is jetblack with a rectangular-crescent shape, and on the curved side is a protruding silver bar running its length. On one side protrudes a clip so the drive can be leisurely placed in a pocket without worries of rummaging. Unfortunately, though this design is sleek, it is also bulgy. In the end, despite its low price and elegance, the Dell flash drive pales in comparison to many of its competitors.
