The mattress comprises a 3" memory foam topper with two progressively firmer 3" pieces of support foam. Overall, it is a very soft bed and perfect for people who prefer to sleep on their sides.

I have never slept better. I don't wake up with any aches and I feel rested a refreshed. I fall asleep faster because the mattress conforms to my body and I don't have any uncomfortable spots. Some people do not like memory foam because it is warmer than traditional bed materials. I have not encountered a significant difference in heat, though I keep my bedroom very cool.

It does not come with a bed frame and the supplied terry mattress cover is of poor quality. Traditional box springs are useless since it will not properly support to the bed. I recommend a platform bed from Walmart or Ikea.
