Mentadent Anticavity Fluoride Toothpaste By Karen on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Mentadent is a very nice tasting toothpaste that comes in a pump dispenser. I'm not certain what it cost when I originally got the dispenser, because it was a while ago, but I believe it was somewhere around 5 or 6 dollars. After you get the dispenser, you can get refills for it, which is really nice because you don't have to worry about a messy tube. You just push down on the pump and out comes your toothpaste. The pump is also dual chamber, meaning two different ingredients are kept separate until you are ready to use.

Mentadent has fluoride and is dentist recommended. It is great for not just cleaning your teeth and mouth, but also for helping to keep both teeth and gums healthy. Of course, as with any toothpaste, you are warned about not swallowing more than what you would use for brushing, and children should be supervised when using.

Mentadent is also great at whitening your teeth. It is an all-around good toothpaste, both my husband and I use it and like it.

Update Posted on :

It was late when I did this review, I forgot to mention the ingredients besides sodium fluoride.  Mentadent also contains baking soda and peroxide (that's why you aren't supposed to swallow too much of this).  There are a bunch of inactive ingredients too.  All in all, a good toothpaste.
