Merrell Chameleon Arc Women's Shoes

These shoes came highly recommended to me, so I tried them out at an REI. They are quite a bit out of my price range, but I was rightfully advised to buy them anyway; some shoes, my companion reasoned, are actually a sort of investment. I can definitely subscribe to this logic after owning these shoes for several months. They are extremely well made, and I could easily see myself wearing them for years upon years to come. Some of my favorite aspects include their waterproofness (I can go tromping through puddles and not feel a single drop leak through!) and their exceptionally comfortable design. After several months, I did notice that a thread was beginning to come loose; it has not impacted the quality of the shoes, but I am a little disappointed to see that slightest sign of wear, especially given that the rest of the shoe is holding up perfectly! I also wish that they had better traction for slippery conditions. All in all, though, this is a pretty excellent sneaker.
