Metallica A Year And A Half In The Life Of By Bobby Childers on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This film could be considered a documentary of sorts. Metallica A Year and a Half in the Life Of follows around the band Metallica during the recording and touring for their album The Black Album. Theres about 4-5 hours of video footage in this film. It is a great look at what it really takes to be in a band. This shows that there are always the good times and along with those good times there are many bad times. There is many funny moments between the singer and guitarist of Metallica, James Hetfield, and the drummer Lars Ulrich. Such as when Lars keeps asking to hear the song they are playing with vocals when James' throat hurts and James says, "You wanna hear the song with vocals? Go sing it." Any Metallica fan will love this dvd because, they can see into the lives of one of their favorite bands.
