Metallica Master Of Puppets By Nicholas Harrell on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

A true metal classic. This release by metallica brought them into the spotlight and showed that they are the true metal kings fro the 80s. Just by the opening song Battery, you know youre in for a in your face metal album. Followed up by Master Of Puppets, a song about drug abuse, The Thing That Should Not Be (Chutulu), Welcome Home Sanitarium (mental institution), Disposable Heroes (young men in the military set out to die in the field, Leper Messiah ( false prophet televangelists and preachers), the mighty instrumental Orion, and Damage Inc. (The way the band feels about the fans and home town area of California, and how the fans show their love for the band at shows). Probably the strongest effort by this band to date. Highly recommended.

I agree with you on this being Metallica's strongest album. This cd never leaves my 6-disc changer.
